We are excited to announce our first round of grantmaking for the year, committing $1.6 million to organizations building the narrative and movement infrastructure that a livable future depends on. These grantees are the storytellers, organizers, and cultural leaders challenging the power of the fossil fuel industry and changing what people believe is possible.
Movement building and culture change work the same way, and they have to run in tandem. One shifts what people do; the other shifts what people believe. Our grantees live at that intersection, pairing frontline organizing with the narrative work that makes it durable.
As in every round, we lead with relationships and trust. Our grantees define what success looks like on their own terms, and we back them with flexible support designed to move at the speed their work actually requires
